The Dogue de Bordeaux, also know as the Bordeaux Mastiff, the French Mastiff, or the Bordeaux dog, is a breed known for it’s calm demeanor and loyalty. They get attached to their human(s), making them a great breed for companionship. They are a powerful breed, but are gentle giants.

Life Expectancy: 5-8 years

Weight: Male- 110-150lbs

Female- 99-120lbs

Height: Male- 24-26 inches

Female- 23-26 inches

Origin: France

Colors: Black Mask and Red

Hypoallergenic: No

Temperament: Even tempered. loyal, devoted, vigilant, companionable, courageous, intelligent, calm, non-aggressive.

Health: Prone to elbow dysplasia, but mostly a healthy breed.
